At RioGAFA, teachers are innovators, creators, and leaders. As a growing school, educators have the opportunity to help shape programs, develop arts-integrated learning experiences, and contribute ideas that influence the future of the school. We value creativity, encourage thoughtful risk-taking, and believe that some of the best solutions come from the educators working closest to students. Your voice, expertise, and ideas can make a lasting impact on our students, our culture, and our continued growth.
At RioGAFA, we recognize that arts integration is both powerful and complex. Whether you are new to arts integration or an experienced practitioner, you will receive ongoing coaching, professional learning, collaborative planning support, and feedback to help you grow. We believe arts integration is a journey, and we are committed to developing educators who can seamlessly connect the arts and academics to create meaningful learning experiences for students.
RioGAFA is a mission-driven school where educators work together to provide both rigorous academics and a rich arts education. Our staff are part of a collaborative community that believes every child deserves the opportunity to thrive academically, artistically, and personally.
At RioGAFA we believe that all students deserve to have access to an arts education. We want our students to have access to culinary arts, dance, film and media, music, theater and visual arts.
NM is culturally rich and diverse and the arts connect us to our cultural heritage. Through our teaching artists students will learn from local artist that look like them and sound like them, but also like their peers. It is an opportunity for students to build community and deeper understand of themselves and others.
